It is spread over 214 acres pf land and came into existence in the year 1959.the main objective of this zoo has always been to provide shelter to various types of natural species and in the present era it stores more than 2,000 animals and birds species.
These species have come all the way from different parts of the world like Africa, America, Australia and even Asia. This also proves to be one of the most tranquil and peaceful picnic spot in winters. |
