Maestros of various instruments like Veena, Sarod, Sitar and the like give performances in Delhi as they are very much appreciated here. During festivals and national holidays, hordes of people gather to see a variety of plays ranging from mythological to filmy.
Most tourists in Delhi make it a point to see at least a few dramas or plays while they are there. It is indeed a worthwhile experience and is also not very heavy on the pocket.
